Action Plan for The Martyr of the Hijab

The recent murderous act against our sister in Islam, Marwa Sherbini, has fallen to deaf ears. This is to add our voice to the voices of many who demand justice and let the world pay attention to this case!

Learn more about the case here: Her Only Crime was the Veil

As Productive Muslims, we shouldn't just react, express anger than keep quiet till the next islamophobic case comes up. We need to be proactive!

I have an idea ;)

I've started a discussion page called, "What have you done for Marwa?" I want each of you to do ONE thing, just one positive action related to this case and post it on the discussion page. You ca:

1. Spread the word via Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, or your own blog.

2. Organise an event at your campus,

3. Design posters/leaflets (leave a link for your pdf/jpeg for people to download.

4. Design an online banner/avatar for people to add to their blogs/forums.

5. Make dua!

6. Other creative ideas!

Whatever it is that you do, post it in the discussion page, that way we create a synergy of ideas/actions and show the world that Muslims are productive and are not going to sit quiet anymore!

Masha Allah! JazakAllahu Khair for posting this. This crime hurts my soul and I cannot believe how little media coverage it has received! Ya Allah - may He grant our sister Marwa jannatul firdaws and grant her husband shifa and sabr! Ameen!
