5 Exciting updates for ProductiveMuslim.com!
Tuesday, March 10, 2009 Assalamu'alaikum all,
Well it's been a quiet few weeks for me on ProductiveMuslim.com website itself, but not so quiet elsewhere... here's some updates on what I've been working on recently:
- Partnered with FOSIS to deliver ProductiveMuslim.com training to Islamic Societies across UK & Ireland. That's taking place every Sunday (started last Sunday) till the first week of April. More details here.
- Partnered with HalfDate.com to provide professional training on effective team management and Islamic productivity. This will be delivered online and can be subscribed by visiting the following link:http://halfdate.com/2009/02/10/date-palms-drive/
- Working with Indezinez.com Productions to produce the first episode of ProductiveMuslim cartoon! The first episode will cover a typical day of ProductiveMuslim.com, and hopefully future episodes that will tackle various issues around Productivity and Islam. Just saw the first draft of the cartoon and looks really good (watch this space!).
- A new audio series "Interviews with ProductiveMuslims around the World" is being recorded. These will be short 20 minute interviews held with ProductiveMuslims in our modern times as a form of inspiration to the rest of the Ummah inshaAllah. I'm aiming to release these within the first week of June/July inshaAllah.
- ProductiveMuslim.com is now on twitter! You can follow my updates/thoughts during the day by following me on twitter. For those of you who are new to twitter, it's a simple service that allows you to update the world in what you're doing during the day, I personally use it to text in ProductiveMuslim tips/thoughts through the day. If you'd like to join twitter and add me: Log on to twitter.com, setup an account, and follow productivemuslm (yup, there's a missing i in productivemuslm, twitter only allows me to have that many characters!). I've also added a twitter update plugin in the right hand side of this website underneath "Recent Updates/Comments" section for visitors to see what I've been up to recently.
Hamdulillah, so been pretty productive! Please keep me in your duas, and let me know your feedback on all of the above. Attend my training, pass the word about the cartoon, listen to the audio interviews, and find out the latest productivemuslim thoughts on twitter! Salaam! :D
