Cut wasting time with Time-blocking!
Wednesday, October 8, 2008 Whenever I see myself wasting time or not doing something productive with it, I force myself to go through the mental exercise of time-blocking.
Time-blocking is simply dividing your time into time blocks of either 1 hour or 1/2 hours and attaching an activity to that block of time.
You can either do it with a pen and a post it note... or you can get a bit fancy and print one of David Seah's Emergent Task Planner and fill them in on a daily basis.
It’s incredible how a promise you make to yourself on pen/paper is hard to break, and does keep your mind focused.
